Day Trading in Spain: Sept 27th Recap: 6+ Pts

Day trading in Spain for the last week and I haven’t even been able to explore much of the city of Barcelona.  I was able to get to the famous Gaudi’s masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia.  The construction on the Roman Catholic Church started in 1882 and actually isn’t even finished yet.  The actual church is set to be finished in 2026 which will honor the death of the famous Catalan artist.

I know that this has nothing to do with day trading but I consider day trading to be a lifestyle and not a profession, this is why my mornings are going to consist of exploring cities like Barcelona now that I am in Europe for an extended period of time. One of the things I love about day trading from this time zone is that I don’t actually have to start working until 3.30pm or 4.30pm in the afternoon.

This actually goes for the entire time zone of Europe, Africa, parts of the Middle East, and parts of Western Asia like India.  Don’t think for a second that I am only moving to India just to find out how to be able to trade in the Indian markets in case any regulations occur with the upcoming presidential collection or problems arise with QE3!

Another great thing about day trading from India is that you’re able to start work at around 6 in the afternoon.   It doesn’t work for everyone but for me it’s perfect because I’m able to wake up, pretend I’m going to the gym, get some work done with my other business projects, and then day trade.

Day trading in Spain seems to be a good luck charm as the movement has been exceptional every single day that I’ve been here. I haven’t had the time to upload all of my recaps but decided to make sure I uploaded all of them from this last week considering the movement was so nice in comparison to the record low volume been having.

Even though the volume was there today, the range was only between 3 to 4 points in the premarket which later increased to roughly 4.5 points  The good stuff actually started happening just after 11 o’clock when I stopped trading. I didn’t make too many mistakes today and I only had two losses averaging just under four ticks but I definitely could have maximize my reward.

I probably left anywhere between 2 to 5 points on the table.

Sometimes we  just have to be satisfied with what we get, for me a winning day is a good day, and you should look at the same way. Too many people get enthralled with the idea that they have to make 1 billion dollars or points everyday. In reality,  we only have to make an average of two points a day in order to make a living day trading.

I’m going to be sharing the stories of some traders that do just that. these are guys that are extremely conservative and only make anywhere between 1 to 3 point today that are making a living day trading. Look forward to adding that to the student section of the site.
